Scaling Dam S.C. is a thriving sailing club which welcomes people of all ages wanting to learn to sail in safety. Our annual Open Day in 2017 was part of Push the Boat Out 2017. It was a fun day where families enjoyed a sail with one of our experienced crew. We will be repeating it on Sunday May 13th 2018. If you were not able to come to the open day we would be delighted to show you round our club and everything we can offer sailors of all ages and experience.

Please use the “Contact Us” link at the top of this page to get in touch with us so that we can give you more information about what Scaling has to offer and  to arrange a suitable time to come and visit us

The venue is a also great place for windsurfing with good winds and ample grassed areas for rigging etc. Also, an increasing number of members now enjoy kayaking, canoeing and paddle-boarding at the club.

If you want to participate in any club events or just want to enjoy being on the water in this stunning location then please come and visit us. Click on these links to check out Membership or to view our Events diary.

We are an RYA recognised training centre and our courses are managed by our enthusiastic team of qualified instructors. We offer formal training for dinghy sailing from Level 1 up to RYA Seamanship/Sailing with Spinnakers/Performance Sailing.  Click this link for an overview of training.

For many years we have welcomed the opportunity to share the joys and rewards of sailing with children and adults with disabilities. Click for more information on Sailability.  Sailability prides itself in its inclusive policy with disabled sailors able to sail alongside able-bodied sailors on equal terms. Scaling Dam welcomes a growing membership of disabled sailors.
